Preventing pests from entering along an overhead door is difficult so far. To keep pests out, it is important that the door is properly adjusted within the frame and that the rubbers are whole. However, over time, the door may start to give way a little and rubbers may be damaged. The purpose of the Skipper is to reduce or even prevent the aforementioned drawbacks.
The Skipper®, how does it work?
In the corner between the ground, the door and a style, there may be some space, which is not properly sealed by the rubbers. This is where pests, such as rodents, can enter. Moreover, rodents tend to gnaw away the rubber to still enter.
The Skipper is placed in the corner between the ground, frame and door and protects the rubber and closes any gaps between rubber and door. From now on when, for example, a rodent such as a mouse walks past the door to the frame, the shaped plate and in particular the curved transition part will ensure that the mouse is steered beyond the corner between the ground, frame and door. The mouse will move on and not be tempted to try to enter.
With double-sided tape and, if desired, additional screws, the Skipper can be easily and quickly fitted against the style of the frame. By bending lips at the edge with notches, the shape can be made to fit. The Skipper and screws are made of high quality stainless steel.
